Le symposium qui aura lieu du 20 au 26 août 2018 réunira vingt-cinq artistes sélectionnés qui travailleront soit la taille de tronc,soit l’installation dans un environnement forestier pendant sept jours. Le concours est ouvert à tous, sans distinction de nationalité, d’âge, de profession. Pour participer à la sélection, il est nécessaire d’envoyer un dossier d’inscription avant le 31 mars 2018.

Les artistes seront attendus le dimanche 19 août et resteront jusqu’au 27 août pour démonter leurs installations.

L’origine du projet Sites En Ligne prend racines à partir d’une fête locale symbolique : La plantation du Mai qui célèbre le début du printemps et se déroule chaque année, le dernier dimanche d’avril. La première partie du projet repose sur la taille du tronc de ” La plantation du Mai “. Celui-ci sera débité en dix (chaque partie mesurant +- 2 m de hauteur) et sculpté par des artistes sélectionnés. La seconde partie du projet mettant l’installation à l’honneur.

This symposium wich will take place from 20sd to 26th of august 2018 will gather twenty five selected artists who will choose between tree trunk carving or installation, to work in a forest for seven days. The competition is open to everybody, without distinction of nationality, age or profession. In order to register, you must send a complete file before 31th of March 2018

The Sites en Ligne project is based on a symbolical, local celebration: The Planting of the May tree, which celebrates the beginning of springtime and takes place each year on the last Sunday of April. The first part of the project consists in the tree trunk carving of the “May Planting”.

The trunk will be cut up into ten parts (each part will be +/- 2 meters high) and carved by selected artists. The second part of the project is dedicated to Installations. 

Artists will be expected on the 19st of august and will stay until the 27th for dismantle their installations.
